Tips To Rock Your Holiday Sales!
Here are some tips to help you rock your holiday sales this season!
Travel Programs for your Members
Travel programs for your members are an important part of any full service club. The events can be as small as taking members to a college tennis match or as elaborate as taking your members to the US Open or down to Florida or California for a big week of tennis.
How To Market Your Tip of The Week
Every club has a tip of the week or some type of program that is a particular tip or shot of the week.
To market for this program make sure that you are including it in your newsletter and make sure that the members actually know about the weekly or monthly program.
To make it successful have the director of tennis run the program. Decide if you want to charge for this program or if you want to do this program free of charge. This is a great member benefit so make sure you are advertising it properly to get the members out to this program.

Exhibitions
This weeks program of the week is on Exhibitions. Exhibitions are a great way to show off your staff. We would do two exhibitions a year. Our first exhibition would be in January and our second was in June.
Our January exhibition would be in our Indoor facility on a Saturday night from 6:30-8:00 and our June exhibition was the first Monday of June. Our January exhibition was a way to get members to the club in an otherwise slow time of the year at the main club house. Our June exhibition was a big event in which we used it as a kick off to all of our summer programs.
For our January event we would get 100-125 people and our June event would get over 200 people.
These are great events to get people to the club and it also gives your staff the opportunity to show off their ability.

Player of The Week
Our program of the week has to do with your Player of The Week. I know most of you already have a player of the week and if you don't you should consider it. Once a week we would select a Player of the Week in which the player would get a small trophy, a $5.00 gift card to Ben and Jerry's, and they would get their picture taken and it would be put on our program board. It was great for the kids and the parents really appreciated it. We would select the player of the week in our weekly staff meeting and then post it on our program board on Monday afternoon. When the kids arrived on Monday afternoon the first thing they would do is look to see who won the Player of the Week. It was a great program for us and I know if you implemented it into your program it would be successful.
